G-Class & M-Class Drivers
- Over the age of 80: All G and M license holders aged 80 and above are required to complete a medical exam as part of their renewal process.
- MTO Referrals: If the MTO has requested a medical evaluation due to reported health concerns, our physicians will complete the required examination and provide documentation directly to the ministry.

How Often Do Truck & Commercial Drivers Need an MTO Medical Exam?
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requires truck drivers and commercial drivers to undergo periodic medical examinations to ensure they are medically fit to drive. The frequency of these exams depends on your age:
- Age 18 – 45: Every 5 years
- Age 46 – 64: Every 3 years
- Age 65 and above: Annually (every year)
Staying compliant with these requirements is essential to keep your license in good standing and ensure road safety.
